Adair Co. Schools mourn loss of Shyanna Harmon From Dr. Pamela Stephens, Superintendent Adair County Schools It is with great sadness I share the news that an Adair County Middle School student, eighth grader Shyanna Harmon, lost her life in an automobile accident Sunday morning, March 20. As a district, we send our deepest sympathy to the family and lift them up in prayer. Our condolences also go out to Shyanna's many friends and family in their time of loss and grieving. Adair County Schools' Crisis Response Team, made up of trained counselors, will be on site at each school Monday morning to talk with students, parents, and staff as they process this loss to our school family. Thank you for your support of our students and staff as we work together to cope with this tragedy. Please feel free to contact your child's school if you feel that someone needs to check on your child or speak with your child. KSP Post 15 investigates fatal collision in Marion Co. By Tpr. Nick Hale Lebanon, KY - The Kentucky State Police is investigation a three vehicle fatal collision that occurred on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at approximately 4:52 PM on Hwy 68 between Campbellsville and Lebanon. Preliminary investigations indicate that Melissa Roberts, age 48 of Campbellsville, KY was operating a 2021 Acura west bound on HWY 68 when she crossed the center line and side swiped an east bound 2015 Ford Focus operated by Noah Kammerer, age 20 of Evansville, IN. That collision caused Roberts to skid sideways into the path of another east bound vehicle, which was a 2011 GMC pickup operated by Jared Pittman, age 21 of Bradfordsville, KY. Jessica Anne Burton, 39, Columbia, KY (1982-2022) Jessica Anne Burton of Columbia passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was 39 years old. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Bearwallow Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue on Friday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Terry Lane Selby, 72, Russell County, KY (1949-2022) Terry Lane Selby, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022. She was 72 years of age. Terry worked tirelessly as a beautician for 35 years. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. Terry was a wonderful cook and her green beans were a favorite of her family. She leaves behind her miniature poodle, Danny, who was a faithful companion and lap dog.
