The best video ever

By Linda Waggener

Geese in great numbers were circling in the bright blue sky over The Homeplace on Green River farm Sunday afternoon.

I pulled onto the winding drive that goes down to the event barn and shut the car off. I could hear them honking and see them soaring on the stiff November breeze above the barns and silo.

It was visual feast.

Letter: Contemplating Conundrums

Billy Joe Fudge writes:
Mr. Stone's daily Haiku put my mind to immediately contemplating a couple of these times in our lives. The first thing which hit my heart was a situation where a loved one is being kept alive by medical means and the horror of having to make the decision about whether to or when to, remove the life support. Secondly, I thought about the decision concerning whether to or when to, go to war.

There are many whether to's or when to's in life. Most do not carry the weight of these two scenarios but are nonetheless, conundrums.
