Still no vehicle transactions at County Clerks Office By Lisa Greer, Adair County Clerk All County Clerk Offices in Kentucky are temporarily unable to process vehicle-related transactions today due to intermittent system issues. We are open for anyone having questions, recordings, marriage licenses, boats, and handicap placards. Phone 270-384-2801 if would like to call before coming in tomorrow to check on State progress. There is currently no estimate for when the issue will be resolved for clerks to resume vehicle transactions. County Clerks use KYTC's Automated Vehicle Information System (AVIS) system to process transactions such as vehicle registrations, transfers and vehicle titling. Contact your local County Clerk office to learn if they are open for non-vehicular business transactions. KLC launches #MeatMeAtTheTable campaign By Sean Southard Lexington, KY - Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Ryan Quarles joined the Kentucky Livestock Coalition and commodity organizations to launch a new campaign encouraging consumers to make meat the centerpiece of their meals at a farm earlier today in Fayette County. "It's hard to believe it, but meat is under attack from some politicians in the United States," Commissioner Quarles said. "Every day we see people attacking our agriculture industry because they don't know the basics about farming. As a farm community, we've got to stand up to these attacks in whatever form they take, like the one from Colorado's governor urging people to cut meat out of their diet to fight climate change. I'm excited to join the Kentucky Livestock Coalition and our commodity organizations for the #MeatMeAtTheTable campaign to encourage Kentuckians to make meat the centerpiece of their meals this month and to support our farm families all year long." The #MeatMeAtTheTable campaign is being launched by the Kentucky Livestock Coalition to educate consumers about the nutritious, affordable, and delicious protein options provided by Kentucky farmers. Calvary Temple 2021 Back to School Revival By Wes Bryant Calvary Temple will be holding our 2021 Back to School Revival on Friday, July 30, and Saturday, July 31. On Friday night we will have a special youth service starting at 7pmCT, with food and fellowship to follow. On Saturday, we will start at 10amCT with a devotion, with games, food and inflatables to follow. We are also taking donations of clothing for grades Pre-K through 12th and hygiene products.
