Letter: Speeding? Murder? Robbery? Harry Mack writes: More info is needed. The story does not say what crime is in question; it just gives some legal terms that most of us don't understand.Comments re: KY Supreme Court to hear oral arguments in Taylor Co. case Harry, apologies for the oversight. The original crime was murder, but the issue before the Supreme Court this week seems to be cheating. The current appeal argues that Ford suffered unfairly because of the punitive view an appeals court took toward a filing by her attorney under Kentucky Rules of Civil Procedure CR 76.12. Ford was convicted in 2012 of the 2009 murder of her husband Lebanon Police Officer David M. Ford, and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. (Wife arrested, charged in Taylor Co., KY, death) According to an article by Calen McKinney in the Lebanon Enterprise, the Kentucky Supreme Court denied a previous appeal in the case, in early 2014. 2021-04-21 07:51:35 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Letters and Reader Feedback
