By Crystal Staley/Jack Mazurak

Frankfort, KY - Kentucky companies continue to create jobs for the commonwealth's skilled workforce, as CGS Machine & Tool Inc., a parts producer for manufacturers, expects to create up to 15 full-time jobs with a $2.75 million investment at its Bowling Green facility.

"It is great to see a Kentucky-based company like CGS Machine & Tool further its commitment to the local workforce and remain in our state as its business continues to grow," Gov. Andy Beshear said. "We at the state want to ensure continued job growth throughout Kentucky, and the success of existing companies such as CGS is crucial to achieving that goal. Congratulations to CGS and the Bowling Green community for the newly announced jobs, and we look forward to similar announcements across the commonwealth for years to come."

CGS plans to invest in upgrades at its Bowling Green operation in response to continued growth and its recently approved ISO certification.

Letter: Mind NOT blown about shark in KY

Rickie Williams writes:
For anyone with a basic knowledge of Old Testament writings and particularly the scriptures pertaining to 40 days and 40 nights of rain, there should be no surprise to this finding at all. The statement about 330 million years old is bogus as well...and for the same reason. About 35 to 40 years ago coal was produced in a laboratory setting using common kitchen trash can garbage placed under the estimated pressure that the surface of the earth would have encountered if totally submerged in water. Yet coal is said to be millions of years old. A fossilized tree was found while digging coal in Eastern KY...but it was upside down...roots up...branches down. Now how could that be??? Ever looked at the debris at the bridge on Hwy 206 just out of town after a big rain? Folks we have never seen a big rain from Noah's perspective.

II Tim 3:16 - 17 states that "All (and by the way ... all means ALL) Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." Every one is free to make their own choices. Either they believe the Bible or they don't.--Rickie
