Taylor Co. case heads to KY Supreme Court By Jamie Neal Frankfort, KY - The Supreme Court of Kentucky will convene Aug. 21-23 in Frankfort to hear oral arguments in civil cases that originated in Carter, Fayette, Jefferson and Taylor counties. ACSO: Russell Co woman charged with drug trafficking By Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office On Thursday, August 8, 2019, Nicolette Hare, 27, of Russell County, was arrested as result of the search of a residence. Sheriff Josh Brockman, Deputies Brandon Hitch and Josh Durbin, and CPD Officer Evan Burton conducted the search at a location on Edmonton Road. During the search, methamphetamine was located along with scales and individual packing material commonly used for the distribution of narcotics. It was also found that Hare had outstanding warrants for her arrest. ACSO: Adair man arrested after stolen firearm located By Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office The Adair County Sheriff's Office received a report of a stolen handgun on Monday, August 5, 2019. During investigation, deputies learned that the gun was at a Russell County residence. Acting on that information, Deputy Justin Cross proceeded to the location, where he met officers from the Russell County Sheriff's Office. The firearm was recovered, and as a result, on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, Hunter Young, 18, was arrested for Theft By Unlawful Taking of a Firearm. He was lodged in Adair County Regional Jail.
