Making good choices is the subject of AYDC student meeting Nick Hale with the Kentucky State Police Post 15 in Columbia visited the Adair Youth Development Center (AYDC) this past week, speaking to the students on the importance of making good choices. He helped the students understand the dangers that go along with drug use. He also brought the KSP mobile substance abuse education trailer. Moon landing headline reminded me of Grandma's priorities By Linda Waggener Everybody has their priorities. Even this "Giant Step for Mankind" didn't really matter enough to overtake my grandmother's priorities of her day. I can never be reminded of the first moon landing without remembering how frustrated my Grandmother Addie Turner Leftwich was at the television coverage that day. Willard Malone, 76, Taylor County, KY (1942-2019) He was a retired school bus driver for the Taylor County School system and a farmer. He loved spending time with his family: whether it was attending church, play time or just simple old fashioned hard work, he was there with a smile on and always ready to participate. LWC Women's Basketball cruises to victory against Fisk By Christopher Coombs The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team cruised to victory over Fisk (TN) at Biggers Sports Center on Monday evening as they won by a final score of 85-51. Four different Blue Raiders finished the game in double-figures as Reagan Turner scored a game-high 19 points.
