Letter: Bubble makers have been around a while Tamra Wilson writes: While the bubble maker is a cool and interesting contraption, It's not an original invention, as they have been manufactured for quite a few years. I have enjoyed having one of these about 20 years ago and recommend them for any bubble enthusiast. It is creative and thrifty to make your own, though! --TamraComments re photo 82145 Roadside giant bubble maker for sale Thanks Tamra! The Weather Experience Perception Effect Comments re article 101447 Coldest 67 degrees ever By Billy Joe Fudge Well, Linda, the Great Wooded South University Research Department, over a couple of decades from 1965 to 1985, tackled the perplexing physical phenomenon known as the Weather Experience Perception Effect. After generating more pages of information and data than the "Muller Investigation", GWSU arrived at a very simple formula to express the many thousands of complex, complicated, conceptual conclusions. Please do not let the brevity of the formula diminish your consideration for the genius of the GWSU's Research Department. I believe it was either Albert Einstein or Junior Walker or Beanpole Willis who said, "If you can't say it simply, you don't know it well enough". Weather Experience Perception Effect is directly affected by the following conditions: 10% temperature, moisture, wind speed, and barometric pressure, and 90% personal, physical and psychological prepossession. 2018-12-31 21:43:33 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Letters and Reader Feedback

Cunningham to retire from KY Supreme Court By Phillip M. Bailey, Louisville Courier Journal Saying he's burned out after a 40-year law career, Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Bill Cunningham is leaving the high court on Feb. 1. "You deal with the arena of human tragedy for that long, and it begins to take its toll," Cunningham told the Courier Journal on Friday. "I just got worried I was tired of dealing with tortured and murdered children, and I couldn't give it my best. Part of doing something is recognizing when you've lost the passion for it." Cunningham, 74, was first elected to the high court in 2006. He is among the two longest-serving justices on the bench along with Chief Justice John D.
