Memorial Day Should Be Every Day - Poem by Tommy Melson By Tommy Melson As the sun rises, on this freedom filled day . . . The tears roll from my eyes because I know there was a sacrifice paid . . . Paid for by men and women, with blood, sweat, tears and some the sanctity of their minds . . . So we can live without fear from the insensitive and the unkind... Memorial Day should be everyday and we should hold these people high . . . With love, help, and understanding for those here, and remembrance for those souls that roam the sky . . . Happy Memorial Day forever, for our peace is from your sacrifice. . . .- Tommy Melson May 28, 2018 2018-05-29 10:46:45 | Comments | Printable version
