As our program's first national champion, his accomplishments are well documented, but he was more than that. He was an excellent leader, teammate, and friend." -- Lindsey Wilson Athletics Director Willis Pooler COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Former Lindsey Wilson wrestling student-athlete Charlie Pingleton of Greencastle, IN passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017. Pingleton was the first-ever NAIA National Champion in LWC wrestling history. He captured the 157-pound weight class title at the 2012 national championships. His funeral will begin at 1pmET tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at the Greencastle Christian Church, 620 Primrose Lane, Greencastle, IN. (Sept. 21, 2017) - Late last week, the Division of Surplus Property in the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet discovered that a list previously removed from its website remained accessible, as a cached document, in response to specific Google searches. A review determined that the removed list inadvertently exposed the name, address, phone number, and driver's license number of 101 individuals who purchased surplus items at a Kentucky State Police public auction held in Frankfort on June 9, 2017. The event is a fundraiser for the Green River Animal Shelter, with 100% of the registration fees - $10 per entrant - being donated to the animal shelter.
