Click on headline for complete story with photo By Ed Waggener The Adair County Fiscal Court Jail Committee received an upbeat report on the financial status but a very sobering analysis of the physical condition of the old facility at its 24 Jul 2017 meeting. Jailer Joey White told the committee that the Jail is running approximately $130,000 under budget for the year. He reported, however, that there are problems with the elevator which could cost as much a $30,000 to replace. He also reported continued problems with staffing, with, at the time, a shortage of four employees. He reported that he had interviewed five in the past week.
