Case and Wright created MeasureMe, a universal measuring app that uses a phone's internal camera to measure various objects. Margaret Wood Smith, 98, Taylor Co., KY (1917-2016) She was the matriarch of a large, distinguished Taylor County Family. In her lifetime, she made outstanding contributions to the community. She was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church for 83 years and was a Sunday School teacher there for many years. She was a graduate of Valdosta State College and a retired Administrative Assistant with the Taylor County School System. During the years of 1942 -1945 in the World War II town of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Margaret was unknowingly working on a secret project, which was later known as the Atomic Bomb. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Taylor County Historical Society. Because of her record keeping and ability to identify people and places in old photographs, she was instrumental in the documentation of much Taylor County history. She was the widow of G. A Level I drought indicates moderate to severe drought conditions have developed, primarily affecting soil moisture and vegetative health. Increasing incidents of wildfires and adverse impacts to agricultural water needs and public water supplies are likely if drought conditions persist.
