Landmark church has new roof, but same familiar look with new steeple.

By Mike Bennett

Gradyville Baptist Church, 159 Old Gradyville Church Road, Gradyville, KY has begun its one-step-at-a-time) renovations.

The first step was completed last fall with the completion of the new roof on the sanctuary.

However, with that repair, we lost the over 125+ years old steeple. Fortunately, pictures and measurements taken prior to removing the old steeple so the new one would look the same.

The only difference is that now there is a cross on top and the bell is now working.
