Perpetually perplexed offers hypothesis on photo anachronism

It all has to do with the invention of a perpetual motion machine, learned writer theorizes. It was a machine perfected, he says, and secreted away 'far from the madding crowd.'

From A Perpetually Perplexed Person

Few people know that before his untimely death, an Adair County inventor perfected a small working model of hsi long labored-upon perpetual motion machine. He placed the device in a cave somewhere within the shire but \"far from the madding crowd" for safekeeping, where today, nearly two centuries after the creator's passing, the magnificent machine still purrs in the dark solitude of the cavern.

Ken Gilpin: How was car from 1950s on Cane Valley Mill Road

Comments re photo 60002 Scenic Adair County KY Cane Valley Mill Road Crossing

Ken Gilpin writes:
A really nice picture but how did you manage to have a car from the 1950's just happen to be on the road that morning? - Ken Gilpin
Thanks, Ken Gilpin - That may be known only to the driver, the good Lord, and Rickie Williams, who may identify it later today. Then, too, the eclectic menu at the Coburg store has a Cuban sandwich coming in the near future, and that may explain it. Whatever, the drive, Friday afternoon and probably even better today, was delightful. - EW
