Letter: Remembers Papaw Grove Mitzi Bault writes: I know where this is. I have spent a lot of time in the Papaw grove. In summers it was a cool place to play in the shade under The Papaw Grove. I loved to eat them. The big black seeds that were in them, you would spit out and push them in the ground. I have two brothers, one older and one younger. When the papwas were green I could throw them at my brothers and they hit hard. When they were old and black, when you hit someone with them they stuck like glue.
