Letter: Information on 204 Bomar Heights

Sue Ingram Sherman writes:
I know that the house at 204 Bomar Heights belonged to Julia Garnett. She bought that sometime around the 1950's and, I believe owned it until her death at which time it was probably willed to Henry Garnett. She was my babysitter as a small child and I loved her dearly. She must have shared those feelings because I am looking at her last will and testament prepared by Earl Huddleston on June 13, 1977 in which she wills her estate to Henry Garnett and if he should outlive her and at his death this estate is bequeathed to me. -Martha Sue Ingram Sherman

Commonwealth of Kentucky Office of Senator Max Wise

By State Senator Max Wise, (KY -16)
Personal commentary of the writer

FRANKFORT, KY. (Jan. 12, 2015) - As my first week in the KY State Senate closed, I was encouraged by the hard work and compromise that was demonstrated by my fellow state senators.

I had my "baptism by fire" last week and saw firsthand and "hands-on" the legislative process taking place, and was reminded again how blessed I am to serve each of you in the Kentucky General Assembly.

Larry Smith: Fog is a factor around Gradyville, Milltown, KY

Wet roads are biggest driving risk this morning, for the most part

By Larry Smith, FM 92.7 the WAVE

While the National Weather Service is warning of fogs in the area, they weren't much of a factor on KY 55 near Green River Lake this morning, but we have been getting calls at the WAVE from listeners at around 6amCT this Monday morning, January 12, 2014 of heavy fog in the Gradyville and Milltown Areas of Adair County. There have been heavy rains through the night, but with the higher temperatures this morning, hydroplaning, not black ice, is the bigger worry. Please drive carefully. Wet roads always present a driving hazard. - Larry Smith, Operations Manager, Shoreline Communications
