Hawes recorded a pair of shutouts in two Lindsey Wilson wins last week to earn Mid-South Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The Johannesburg, South Africa, sophomore goalkeeper stopped all four shots he faced in Lindsey Wilson's 1-0 win at NCAA Division II Flagler (FL) on October15, 2014. Hawes backed up the Flagler win with his sixth shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over Pikeville (KY) on Sunday 19 Oct 2014. Hawes leads the Mid-South Conference and ranks 12th in the NAIA with a 0.72 goals against average. With last week's two shutouts, Hawes now leads the conference in clean sheets. This is the fourth defensive player of the week honor for Hawes this season. Ninth-ranked Lindsey Wilson improved to 10-2-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the MSC with last week's win. The Blue Raiders wrap up conference regular season play this week as they travel to Georgetown (KY) on Wednesday. All you have to do is go and make a commitment to drive safely and it teaches you two driving skills daily. Currently we are number 191 in the small school category and need to be in the top 50. We can do this if everyone will participate. You can "commit" once daily. We will keep everyone posted as we move up the ladder. You will go to this link http://www.celebratemydrive.com/Commit and put your email, birth date, and tell them if you are a parent, teacher, etc.. hit next and then it will take you to the next page where you will enter the school name - Adair County High School, City - Columbia, and State - Kentucky. You will then hit next and it will pull up Adair County High School -- you select it and hit next ... then it asks you two fun driving question that are educational. After you do it once - the next time it might take you 2 minutes, and you can enter once a day using each of your email addresses if you have more than one. The rewards are big.
