JIM: 100 years ago - Commencement in Columbia, 1913 Activities at Lindsey Wilson were over a week long This installment of Commencement in Columbia covers activities at Lindsey Wilson. Adair County authors: Albert C. Wyckoff A chance to learn more about Adair's rich literary heritage before attending the big book fair. Adair County Book Fair, 2013, Second Annual sale and show, on June 1, 2013, 10am-3pmCT/11am-4pmETat the Historic Courthouse, 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY. By Mike Watson Rev. A.C. Wyckoff wrote books, primarily for the young readers of America, from the late 1920s through the early 1950s. These wonderful books were reprinted at least into the 1960s. Collectors still seek some of the more elusive volumes, particularly those that were not reprinted in the years after World War II, though most of the Mercer Boys series did have a new wave of readers in the 1950s. Brother Wyckoff pastored the Presbyterian Church in Columbia from 1943 until his untimely death in 1953.
