Lindsey Wilson Cycling Program

Just mailed out our biggest single order yet. 500 stickers to Yreka, California for Siskiyou County Economic Development.

They have adopted our movement and will distribute the stickers to businesses in their area of Northern California.

The concept was brought to them by LWC graduate and cyclist Matt Dooley, who continues to promote our movement even after his graduation.

Finally, attached is a photo just sent to me by LWC graduate James Brown who now lives in Lexington, KY. He was riding his bicycle to work across town when a thunderstorm rolled up on him. He spotted this Bicycle Friendly sticker on the door of the YMCA and sought shelter till it passed. He snapped this photo as he waited out the lightning. A perfect example of the little idea, born from kindness in Columbia, Kentucky in action. - DAVE GRIGSBY

Deacon Todd Corbin of the Flatwoods Separate Baptist Church has sent an updated Directory of Churches listing for Flatwoods Separate Baptist Church as follows:
FLATWOODS SEPARATE BAPTIST CHURCH, 5680 Burkesville RD, Columbia, KY. Five miles from Columbia, KY on South Hwy. 61 (Burkesville Road, soon to be Wheeler Hill Road). Sunday School 10 a.m. Sunday Worship Service 11amCT Prayer Meeting Wednesday 6pmCT, Youth Meeting, 3rd Sunday 3-5pmCT, Women's Meeting 4th Monday 6:30pmCT. Annual Old Fashioned Campmeeting 4th weekend in September (Fri, Sat, Sun.). Come worship with us. Where you are only a visitor once; after that, you're family. Email: flatwoodssep@yahoo.com. Call: Deacon, Todd Corbin 270-789-3905
Our thanks to Deacon Corbin. for helping us keep this element of ColumbiaMagazine.com current - all the more so since in just a short while, Justin Bailey at the Adair 911 Addressing and Mapping center will have new addresses assigned as Main Street through The Flatwoods changes over from Burkesville Road to Wheeler Hill Road - and most likely, with new numbers too. Few other features on ColumbiaMagazine.com are so valuable, internally, to us. To speed Events posts when Street & Number is inadvertently omitted, we most frequently refer to DIRECTORY of CHURCHES. Other media, we hope, are using it as a reference for addresses as well. We urge Pastors, Church Secretaries, and devoted Members of Churches to Scan the Directory of Churches TODAY, and update any obsolete data - and submit for possible updates before Prayer Meeting tonight! -EW
