The budget is up $231,222.22 over the 2011-2012 budget, which was the first over $5 million in county history. As required by state law, it is a balanced budget. The budget's first reading was approved 7-0 on a motion by Magistrate Billy Dean Coffey (5), with a second by Billy Rowe (7), with all remaining magistrates, Harold Burton (1), Daryl Flatt (2), Sammy Baker (3), Perry Reeder (4), and Joe Rogers (6) affirming the action.
