Jim and Janie Goodwin in 2021

Janie (Cape) Goodwin and her late husband, Jim Goodwin, at Schuler's Restaurant in Marshall, Michigan. Jim passed away on September 15, 2021 as a result of of a bicycle/car accident. We had been married 57 years.

Janie says, "Jim and I and our sons always came down [to Adair County] a couple times a year to visit family. I work on genealogy every day and have since the 1970s. I believe I am related to most everyone in Adair and Russell County."
