What can be done to stop accidents at this spot?

2023-05-09 - Adair County, KY - Photo courtesy of a bystander.
Thanks to the bystander who shared this picture, we see the massive number of first responders coming to help at the site of the multiple vehicle, injury accident that happened outside of Columbia Friday on Hwy 55N. This accident is one of many that have happened at this spot - where people try to turn in to eat - or to go to church - at the same time traffic wants to continue traveling at 55 mph without being slowed down. Many are questioning now, what will the State Transportation Department do to stop these accidents?
