At the Adair Farmers Market: Zebra Stripe Tomatoes

2017-07-18 - Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com photo(c).
Audrey Price steadies a basket of Zebra Stripe tomatoes while husband Jonah does the smiling at the Adair County Farmers Market today, Tuesday, July 18, 2017. The specialty tomatoes are just a few of the wide variety of tomatoes offered today - perhaps the largest offering of tomatoes this season here, The Prices are owners of Ninevah Land Farm, Portland, KY, and are regulars at both the farmers market at the extension office and at FM2. Business was brisk this morning as buyers took advantage of the rather coolish weather. Vendors will be at the market from 6am until 10amCT, today, or until supplies run out. - EW.
