2011 Crusade Turn-In: Breeding AVFD

2011-06-05 - ACES, 870 Indian DR, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener.
The Breeding Area Volunteer Fire Department 2011 Crusade Turn-In Team - all but Chief Terry Harvey, who was talking shop with other firefighters when this photo was taken - wore broader smiles than many. They had been keeping cool in the air conditioned comfort of the department's crew cab. Breeding had a good year for the Crusade, raising $850.96, just a little short of the 2010 total. Above, front row The newest member, Misty Odom; Chandler Burkett, Kyle Cundiff, and back row Tony Harvey and Brandon Harvery. The firefighters are standing in front of their latest acquisition, Tanker No. 2. The Breeding unit is widely known as possibly the best equipped small community fire department in the nation.
