Kayla Wood reads winning Patriot Pen essay



2009-11-16 - Photo ACMS photo. Kayla Wood wins VFW Patriot Pen Essay Contest: Columbia VFW Post 6097 and Ladies Auxiliary VFW 6097, send congratulations to Kayla Wood for her entry in this year's Patriot Pen Essay Contest. The theme for this year's contest is "When is the Right Time to Honor Our Military Heroes?" Kayla, shown above reading her essay, received a certificate honoring her and also a $100 check for her entry. Behind here are Bill Spicer, Cathy Luttrell, and Kenneth Scott, from the local VFW units Once again, congratulations Kayla! -Cathy Luttrell, Secretary/Bookkeeper, Adair County Middle School
