Monumental sign of resurrection of Circle R Restaurant

2008-09-03 - 712 Russell Road, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener.
Work is progressing of the new Circle R. The monument-type sign with rustic framing has been erected and much of the landscaping around the sign is in place for the new BBQ and catfish restaurant. The new restaurant is owned by Columbia businessman Michael Stephens. The low sign is in in accordance with current zoning regulations as are the new First & Farmers National bank signs on Burkesville Street and Russell Road. The restaurant will offer patio and in-car dining, as well as drive-through take out service. At this time, the restaurant does not plan to serve breakfasts.
