Memorial Day Tribute: In Memory of Joann Darnell

Joann Darnell departed this world August 21, 1997.

What wonderful memories I have of you and me. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and wonder what my life would be like now if you werestill here. You always knew how unhappy my life was at times butknowing you were there always kept me going. WhenI lost you, I lost a piece of myself.

I understand now that life goes on and things change. And they did.

If only you could have metLynne. I know you are smiling down on me just knowing that I have found someone thatloves me unconditionally, like you did. Someone that makes mesmile, makes me laugh, makes me happy and really loves me through the good and bad. You would have welcomedLynne and recognized immediately what I Love about her.

How I wish the kids could have you here,so you couldshow them the Love and Understanding that you showed me my whole life. To Love them whole heartedly no matter what their faults. Four Grandsons and a Grand-daughter, you would have spoiled them rotten and loved every minute of it. Logan and CoCo remember how special you were but Derek, Marteneque and Christian never had the chance.

I Miss you so much Mom and will always Love You! On this Memorial Day, I just want everyone to know that you were and always will be my Hero!
