Cattle on Oris Brockman Farm: Lean to the left, please

Traveling up and down Murrah Road in Adair County I spotted a "snaggly" old tree in front a barn. Couldn't get the composition for the photo due to a fence limiting my angle. Fortunately Mr. Brockman was working around at his tool shed and granted me access to the field with the barn (photo forthcoming).
In this photo, the cattle had been across the field and ran over to where I was (I think they were trying to spook me) but I held my ground. The leaning to the left by the cows was apparently the final moment, captured in this photo, of their coming to a dead stop when they saw that their tactic didn't work. --ROBERT ELLIS.
