Bowling Team helps out on Malvina Farkle Day

Husband and wife project leaders, LWC bowling head coach Johnathon Meece and LWC freshman advisor Carlyn Causey-Meece paused for a photo before heading to the Jim Blair Center on Wednesday. The LWC bowling team also used Malvina Farkle Day to help a local private resident with yard work.

LWC students volunteer at Genealogy and History Research Center

Adair County Genealogy and History Research Center Director Mike Watson receives help moving bulky items from LWC freshman Sho Ito from Funabashi, Japan, and junior international student ambassador Autumn Gregory from Monticello, Kentucky, during Malvina Farkle Day. There were more than three dozen service sites available for LWC students on Wednesday.

Psychology freshman Trinity Deaton from Breckinridge, County, Kentucky, and human services and counseling freshman Brianne Ridinger from Louisville, Kentucky, take part in Malvina Farkle Day at the Adair County Public Library. Lindsey Wilson College dismisses classes for the day each year while students spend the morning working on community service projects and playing games in the afternoon.
