LWC Veterans Luncheon: Student Helpers

More than two dozen LWC students and staff arrived to lend a helping hand and show their gratitude to the veterans in attendance on Friday at LWC's 20th-annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon.
More than 150 guests attended the luncheon that was held at the Adair County VFW Post 6097. The event was catered by the LWC Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center. Comments | Permalink

The veterans received a treat on Friday. The LWC Singers and Director of the LWC Theatre Program Robert Brock performed the musical and theatrical collaboration, Words of Lincoln.
Brock, center stage, performed as Abraham Lincoln's law partner, Billy Herndon who was a Green County, Kentucky native. The LWC Singers are directed by LWC Director of Choral Programs Gerald Chafin. Comments | Permalink
