Birds of Kentucky: Watching traffic like a hawk

This young hawk was spotted keeping a sharp eye on traffic on Lakeway Drive in Russell Springs this afternoon. The CM Ornithology Department suspects it to likely be a juvenile Red-Shouldered Hawk, or possibly a young Cooper's Hawk. Comments | Permalink
