The tall arch windows on the Burkesville Street side of the historic Adair County Courthouse look great with a coat of white paint. The window on the right of the four still has plywood covering it where it has sustained damage over the years. It is hoped repairs can save it soon. Comments | Permalink

Earl Mann ran Circle R Restaurant night shift

Gary Mann saw the Circle R Restaurant feature on Columbia Magazine and wanted his dad, Earl Mann, to be remembered. He helped run the Circle R for JD Harper for almost 19 years at night. He was from Russell County. In this picture from around 1968 Earl Mann is standing at left in the blue jacket holding the plate.
