The Grapes of Sawyer (Phase 2)

2026-04-07 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Robert Ellis, robertelliswoodworking.com
Robert writes, "Phase 1 occurred a couple weeks ago when I took these cuttings from my vineyard. During that phase I buried them in sawdust until I could get around to transplanting them into the soil. For the next phase, plans are once again transplant them into plastic "pots" in an attempt to sell them later in the year...those that survive, that is.

I dug all the holes and Sawyer (my Grandson) helped with putting them into the soil, and of course piling up the dirt around them, with his favorite tool--his hammer--cause that's what boys do!"
