Billy Joe writes, "No shortage of squirrel food in Taylor County. I probably saw a blue million, as my Dad would often say, hickory nuts while walking up a wooded ridge road today. Of course, Hickory nuts are great human food as well but unwrapping that tasty morsel is a most difficult endeavor!"

Hearts around the Public Square

Paige Nickel, Director of Adair County Tourism, teamed up with the Mayor and staff at City Hall to put out the hearts around the Public Square fountain - the hearts have scannable QR codes on them which tell more about what Adair County has to offer.
