Pam Hancock, honored as a role model for women

Pam Hancock of Columbia operates three McDonald’s locations in Kentucky in addition to civic work and family and friends involvement.
She has been locally recognized as Outstanding Business Woman of the Year by the Columbia Adair County Chamber of Commerce in 2011 and was selected by other McDonald’s owner operators in the south central Kentucky region to serve on the business unit’s board.
On top of this, Pam continues long years of service as treasurer on the Adair County Tourism Board.
She takes pride in both giving back to the community and serving as a role model to other women.

CPD Detective Sgt. Evan Burton writes, "Did you ever see a cow sit? This is Mrs. #201, pictured waiting patiently on “Double R Farm” for local farmer Joe Rogers. We have had fun making captions for this picture."
Columbia Magazine had to ask, "Does Joe swear it’s really his Adair County farm, and that there's been no artful photoshopping? Is it the truth and nothing but the truth, which we get as close to as possible each and every day? Sgt. Burton says, "it’s the real deal!"
