Kristin Jacobson has been selected to serve on the Children's Advocacy Centers of Kentucky board of directors.
She has worked for several years with the Lake Cumberland Children's Advocacy Center (LCCAC) based in Russell County, as assistant director, and now director. Her interest in the Center began when she interned with the LCCAC while a student at Campbellsville University's Carver School of Social Work. She also served through the years as a volunteer.

The Lake Cumberland Children's Advocacy Center serves children who are alleged victims of sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, or witness to violent crimes. The cheerful signage and logo, "Plant A Smile, Save A Child!" greets families when they enter both of the LCCAC Centers in the ten counties they serve. Comments | Permalink

LWC could become Lindsey Wilson University

This is the historic entrance to the campus of Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia with the new clock. President Bill Luckey said the college is doing incredibly well and a possible name change would be only that, a change in name, keeping to the spirit and mission of the school. Comments | Permalink
