Over 400 LWC students turned out to watch eclipse

More than 400 LWC students gathered at the campus quadrangle on Monday for a great solar eclipse watch party. The students were provided eclipse-viewing safety glasses to protect their eyes while viewing the astronomical event. The watch party was sponsored by the Office of Student Activities. Lindsey Wilson students travel north for eclipse

A group of 75 LWC students, faculty and staff traveled three hours to Ferdinand State Park in Dubois County, Indiana, to experience the great solar eclipse within the path of totality on Monday. The group was led by LWC Professor of Physics Mark McKinnon. Only 13 states were within the path of totality where the moon completely obscured the sun from view. Comments | Permalink
