Even in high temperatures, water is flowing over the falls at the little roadside park just off Hwy 61, north of Burkesville, and everything around it is green and healthy. We have much to be thankful for. After Casey County declared a water emergency last month, they were able to purchase water from Adair County. A pipeline was constructed from Green River Lake to Lake Liberty. This fix doesn't take care of the long term needs of our region of south central Kentucky. Comments | Permalink
