Leaders make the camp successful

The annual 4-H summer camp at Jabez was made possible in great part by leadership, according to director Tony Rose. He says, "they did the extra things to make sure the campers had a great time. Charles Grimsley, center, is being appreciated for having led negotiations that resulted in the City Of Columbia funding the work of bringing the historic Adair County Courthouse clock back into working order. He is pictured talking with Terry Moore and Shannon Sexton. Wednesday, June 26, 2024, was the day the clock officially started working and sounding out the hour downtown.
