Snow Skiing
2024-12-01 - Columbia, KY - Photo from Doug Beard
Doug writes, "Every year when the first snowflakes start to fall, I remember the love my father had for snow skiing. He skied throughout Europe in the 1940's and 1950's including the Olympic villages in Innsbruck, Austria Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany - Lillehammer, Norway.
While skiing in Lillehammer one winter season, he finished in 2nd place in the downhill competition. I treasure the stories of his adventures and his ski jacket is proudly displayed in my office!" Comments | Permalink
