Billy Joe writes, "At that time the prison had their own dairy herd to keep some of the minimum security prisoners busy. Because of escalating land values and maybe even changes in rules about prison labor in California, they eventually ceased the program and sold much of the land. Back then, seeing the cows made me a little homesick for Kentucky and my own dairy herd!"

Billy Joe writes, "This is me, killing time in the parking lot of Chino State Prison. Had a lot of conversations with folk, including the gentleman with that Ford pickup who saved several lives with his Pepsi run!"

Fortress of Solitude

Veronica writes, "Unsure if Superman will visit, but this little one isn't ready to part with the ice fortress she built during Winter Storm Fern. Fortress of Solitude was not built in a day! Just like Rome! But with the whole family pitching in we got it done. Unsure what's more important, building the fort or building the memories?"
