Tommy writes, "There are 71 Interstate Highway systems in the United States and the Highway Department wants to add our beloved Cumberland Parkway to their list. It may not matter to some folks but I for one think they should leave it as is. I-65 runs from Chicago to Mobile, Alabama. According to Bing, that's 918 miles of I-65. I don't think they need to add a spur to our Cumberland Parkway and make it an Interstate, besides I don't like the word SPUR because it reminds me of a mean rooster!"

The special Adair County Arts Council exhibit starting this evening will be a tribute honoring Henrietta and Jeff Scott's contribution and dedication to the greater Adair-Columbia community. Their Highland Raku Studio, now the Highland Station Gallery will be dedicated to Henrietta and Jeff during a ceremony held from 4pmCT to 6pmCT and will run through March 15, 2025 at 3292 Wheeler Hill Road in the Sparksville community.
