FFA Land Judging team faces Oklahoma winds

On Monday, May 4, 2026, the Adair County FFA began their journey to compete in the National FFA Land Judging & Homesite Evaluation contest in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Here the team can be seen trying to survive the Oklahoma winds while evaluating factors in a soil pit while preparing for the contest.

On Monday, May 4, 2026, the Adair County FFA began their journey to compete in the National FFA Land Judging & Homesite Evaluation contest in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Land Judging team member Addie Baker can be seen here using her scorecard to estimate soil depth and erosion. Students are not permitted to use tape measures in the contest, so they have to estimate measurements based on what they have available.

On Monday, May 4, 2026, the Adair County FFA began their journey to compete in the National FFA Land Judging & Homesite Evaluation contest in El Reno, Oklahoma. The team qualified to compete in the homesite division of the contest based on their outstanding achievements at the state level.

The 2026 Adair County FFA Land Judging and Homesite team from left to right was Ethan Wooten, Katie Kean, Isabella Harvey, and Addie Baker.
