Groundhog Day 2020: Spring on the way?

According to Billy Joe Fudge, Pepe le Pew is the better predictor of spring, and the folks at NOAA could almost be argued to agree, since they show Phil the Groundhog getting it right only 40% of the time.
However, the folks in Pennsylvania still hold a festival for the groundhog's predictions every February 2. This year, reports are that he's calling for an early spring again, and we hope that he's right. Comments | Permalink
