The Columbia-Adair County Fire Department will be taking sealed bids on this 1999 Freightliner tank truck that was involved in an accident. This vehicle has 27,000 miles on it.
Bids can be mailed to PO Box 96, Columbia, KY 42728, or dropped off at the Columbia/Adair County Fire House, 200 Merchant St, Columbia, KY. Any questions contact Chief Terry Flatt at 270-634-0441.

At the Adair County Recycling Center

After the Solid Waste Committee meeting February 3, members went to the Recycling Center to check for spaces where a trailer could be parked each month for collection and storage before pick up. The trailer would be provided by a new vendor under consideration. This cat showed up at my house about dark yesterday. Sorry I couldn't get a better picture of him but he was either busy eating or busy wanting petted. He is someone's house cat -- wants in, wants petted, good shape other than a little thin. Call 270-634-2133 if this is your cat. Comments | Permalink
