Visitation suspended at Adair Regional Jail

Visitation to the Adair Regional Jail has been suspended after all Kentucky jailers were given recommendations re the COVID - 19 virus that in person visitation would be prohibitive. The visitation suspension includes all visitors to inmates, all volunteer programs by churches, life programs, GED courses, etc. Phone visits and teleconferencing visitation will continue as always. However the only persons allowed into the jail will be employees, law-enforcement and legal representation. Comments | Permalink

Mike writes, "Adair County Outdoor Warning Sirens were activated in Knifley and Pellyton as the 7pm tornado warned area was in the Northernmost part of Adair Co. The warning expired at 7:30pmCT." Comments | Permalink
