Epicurean Kentuckian: Whey Soda

Marie writes, "I made a lot of cheese over the holiday from Kefir. Which left me plenty of whey. So I've been making my own soda pop :-) This is white grape peach juice no sugar fermented with whey. And it is indeed bubbly... Bubbly for the New Year!"

Helping assure future students have help for college

Through 25 years as a teacher in Hart and Barren Counties, Lindy Forbes saw many kids wanting to go to college, struggling, who just didn’t have the money - they just needed help.
