Zoom birthday party honors Jean Cravens
2021-05-05 - Indiana and Kentucky and Panama - Photo screen shot of Zoom meeting by Linda Waggener
Happy 91st Birthday, Jean Cravens!! That's the birthday girl waving as her cake was presented in the lower left photo. The Zoom birthday party was organized by her grandson Chris Cravens. In attendance were some of each of these branches of Jean's family - Cravens, McKinley, Richards, Burris, Waggener - and more joined in later. Shannon, whose name appears in the lower right, is Jean's granddaughter, taking a break from video to help with the cake. The official Happy Birthday song was performed by Jean's great niece Emma Grider, top left photo with her Mom Lee and Grandparents Ralph and Glinda Waggener. It was a good time of celebrating family together. Comments | Permalink

Leaving Green, Heading West: Grand Canyon West, AZ
2021-05-05 - Grand Canyon West, AZ - Photo by William Lamkin
William writes, "For a fee you can walk out onto the skywalk. It is a glass bottom walkway that literally hangs over the edge of the Grand Canyon, Did I mention it has a glass bottom?
I was going to go (by myself I might add) but they do not allow cameras, phones, or anything that may be dropped, and that kind of defeated my purpose.
Would you be willing to go?" Comments | Permalink
