Civil War era pocket testament
2021-08-02 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Mike Watson
This is a Civil War era pocket testament, carried into the field by a soldier from this area. The soldier inscribed his name and some personal information. When he came home from the War he continued to add vital information as the years rolled by. In time his family line became extinct, but this gem of information, his own family history, has been preserved and cared for by others. Comments | Permalink
