International Space Station over Glens Fork

The photographer known as Roldcat writes, "This is an 8 second shot of the International Space Station as it orbits 250 miles above the earth at 17,500 mph. It's being lit by reflecting sunlight off of its solar panel arrays. It is extremely easy to see with the naked eye. It's a real treat for any stargazer to view. Taken just after 8:03pm 9/16/21." Flag dedicated on 9/11 to first responders

Bill Cassell, who was police chief for the City of Campbellsville on 9/11, said he remembers the unity that happened in the nation after 9/11 and urged we get back to that. He spoke at the flag dedication along with Dr. H. Keith Spears, interim president of Campbellsville University, and Stan McKinney (seated), chair of the Department of Mass Communication and associate professor of journalism, who arranged the event.
